Movember

Hi Everyone,

It’s soon going to be the third week of Movember, the month formerly known as November, which is dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men’s health.

I joined the movement and I’ve been donating my upper lip to the cause for 19 days. My Mo sparks some crazy conversations and generates some wild laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer.

Why am I so passionate about men’s health?

*I’ve known several men who have /are struggling with prostate cancer,

* 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime

* 25,500 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year in Canada,

* more than 4000 men will die this year in Canada from prostate cancer.

If you have not already donated, I invite you to support me by donating to my effort at http://www.movember.com/m/2065992  (every little bit helps).  You can even go old school and write a cheque payable to “Movember Canada”, reference my name and Registration Number 2065992 and send it to: Movember Canada, 119 Spadina Avenue, PO Box 65, Toronto, ON  M5T 2T2 .

If you’d like to find out more about the type of work you’d be helping to fund by supporting Movember, take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: http://ca.movember.com/about

If you would prefer not to donate or already have, it would still be fun if you could take a brief moment to rate my Movember page, and help me improve my rating in order to make more people aware.

Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men’s health. All donations of $20.00 or more are tax deductible.

I appreciate your time because if we work together the greatest of things can be accomplished!

All the Best,

Bill
